About the Location
Located in NW Bakersfield, the gallery was built in the 1960s by Nicole Browning's maternal grandfather, Joseph Davin. Originally, the space was used as a parlor to entertain clients for the family farm equipment business and was the scene of many dinner parties and gatherings, both professional and personal. The residential home attached to the gallery, also built during the 1960s, boast unusual quirks reminiscent of the time period including an airplane hanger and even a bomb shelter, although these are not open to the public.
